MP4Converters operates without requiring user accounts or registration. We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide the service.

Automatically collected data: When you visit our site, our servers log your IP address (anonymized after processing), browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, and pages visited. This is used solely for security monitoring and service improvement.

Submitted URLs: When you paste a YouTube URL into our tool, that URL is transmitted to our servers for processing. We do not permanently store URLs after processing is complete. All temporary data is purged within one hour.

Cookies: We use only essential, functional cookies required for the website to operate. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics scripts.

We use collected information solely to operate and maintain the service, detect and prevent technical issues and abuse, monitor for security threats, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise disclose your personal information to third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.

We use session cookies strictly necessary for the service to function (e.g., handling your download request). These cookies are deleted when you close your browser.

We do not use persistent tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any form of cross-site tracking. You may disable cookies in your browser settings; however, some features of the service may not function correctly without them.

Our service relies on third-party infrastructure including cloud hosting and DDoS protection (Cloudflare). These providers may process your IP address as part of normal network operations and are bound by their own privacy policies.

We do not integrate advertising networks, social media trackers, behavioral analytics platforms, or any third-party data brokers.

Server access logs are retained for a maximum of 30 days for security purposes, after which they are automatically deleted.

YouTube URLs submitted for processing and any generated download files are automatically deleted within one hour of processing. We do not maintain user accounts, so no personal profile data is stored.

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit. Our servers are protected by firewalls and monitored for unauthorized access.

No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we use commercially reasonable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or another jurisdiction with applicable data protection law, you may have rights including: access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data; objection to or restriction of processing; and data portability.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
